• Rebar placement

  Not only do we manufacture and provide pre-tie rebar, but we also install reinforcing steel and wire mesh through the newest addition to our family, Barker Steel Erectors LLC. 
  We offer seamless service from start to finish, providing and installing rebar for one, lump-sum price-so there are no surprises. We're currently serving the New York, Connecticut and Rhode Island markets. Please contact us for more information about this convenient new service.

• Estimating

  Our estimators work from your contract drawings to calculate how much rebar and other concrete products are needed for your project. We provide you with an accurate, efficient estimate designed to save you money, so you can bid on your job knowing you’ll be offering the best possible price.

• Detailing

  Barker Steel’s dedicated staff of detailers has deep expertise in all aspects of concrete construction—from high-rise buildings to power plants.
  They rely on the same CAD detailing technology used to design some of the largest projects in the United States, including the Central Artery/Third Harbor Tunnel, in Boston, MA. We detailed and supplied more than 300,000 tons of reinforcing bars and related products on this project alone. But our detailers do more than create drawings for rebar and building products placement. They answer your questions and resolve any issues that come up as job design changes. They track orders and deliveries. And they serve as liaisons between you and our fabricating shops, sales and accounting departments.

• Coordinating

  Once we review your contract, an assigned project coordinator works closely with you to create a plan for releasing materials and ensuring execution. This seasoned professional also schedules rebar fabrication, tracks material deliveries and change orders, and works with detailers, sales and accounting departments to ensure no detail is overlooked. So your project goes as smoothly as possible. If any issues come up, our coordinators are ready and able to handle them quickly and efficiently. They draw on their skills and experience and use the most advanced contract management software in the industry to access a wealth of information—from estimate details, bar-lists and shipping schedules to the trailer number and its location.

• Field Services Technicians

  Because we’re a hands-on organization, Barker Steel’s field technicians visit your job site on a regular basis. They talk to your crew, your project manager, and other construction supervisors to make sure all requests are taken care of right away.

• Building Products Sales/Services 

  Barker Steel's sales professionals are experienced and highly trained in all aspects of concrete construction. They provide you with technical assistance and have the knowledge to answer all your questions on products applications, and quantities. Plus, they can handle any issues that arise.
