Barker Steel LLC Adds New Facilities in New York and Maine

Barker Steel is pleased to announce the addition of two more rebar and concrete products facilities to our continuously growing list of branches – Scarborough (ME), and Syracuse (NY).

The Scarborough, ME facility replaced a small Sales office in the same geographic area that could no longer sustain the needs of our customers. Now our Northern Tier customers can count on a generous warehouse space that stocks a wide variety of concrete building products, such as welded wire mesh, concrete chemicals, and a full line of decorative concrete products and tools for masonry, among others. Lastly of course we will also stock black and epoxy coated (#3-6) stick rebar in 20’ and 10’ lengths for immediate delivery and pick up.

The Syracuse, NY facility is a full service location in an expanding market that will service our western NY customers more efficiently. This location will be offering not only all the concrete products already mentioned above, but also a full line of form rental equipment (handset, gang and shoring), as well as stock length rebar (#3-7).

We feel that the strategic decision to branch out into new locations, or replace old facilities with new, expansive ones, will improve services to our customers by expediting deliveries to those markets and serving as a pick-up station for immediate products needs.
